The North Shore Baseball Association is excited to welcome you to our 9th annual Opening Day to kickstart our baseball Spring Season!!
Date: Saturday, April 5, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Opening Ceremonies at 11:00 AM on the diamond)

Opening Day Event Details:
Please bring your entire family and enjoy a BBQ, Bouncy Obstacle Courses, Glitter Tattoos, a Balloon Artist, a 5U Base Race, an Equipment Swap, 50/50 Draw, Raffle for 2 team sessions at T21 Performance (Travail), an Opening Speech by our President and Mayor, a first pitch by Travail, 13U AAA baseball game, and Team and individual photos.
Agenda:
- 11:00 AM – Opening Speeches on the diamond from our NSBA President and Mayor of North Van City and District.
- 11:05 AM – 5U Base Race. Please meet your team at 10:45 AM on the diamond.
- 11:15 AM – First pitch by T21 Performance (Travail).
- 1:00 PM – 13U AAA Baseball Game vs Ridge Meadows (double-header), spectators welcome and encouraged!
- 13U AAA team please be on the diamond by noon
- Team and individual photos between 9 AM – 2 PM, Photo Time Details
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your teams photo start time
- Please bring your photo order form filled out, regardless if you are ordering any photos – each player will receive a free team photo and an individual photo. Photo Order Form (additional photo forms will be available on site)
- Players can bring their own bats for pictures
- BBQ will be running from 10 AM – 2:00 PM (players will receive a free hotdog, chips and juice) Concession will be open to purchase hotdogs/hamburgers and other items. (Veggie hotdogs will be offered as well)
Online 50/50 Draw:
- Available for purchase from April 5 – May 30 (use QR Code below)

What Else to Bring:
- Please bring a non-perishable food item to support North Shore Schools and Harvest Project
- We welcome any unused baseball equipment you are willing to donate or exchange, a designated table will be available for equipment swaps.
Weather:
- If light rain, all activities will still commence. If we have heavy rain, pictures and BBQ will still be on and all other activities will be cancelled.
Parking:
- There will be ample parking on the gravel field next to Chris Zuehlke
