FALL BALL IS NOW OPEN!

2024 NSBA Fall Ball Registration is Now Open

North Shore Baseball Association is offering Fall Ball for 9U, 11U, 13U, 15U, and 18U divisions. The NSBA welcomes ALL players to come and join Fall Ball.

The fall season places players who just completed the second year of a division and moves them into the next division to give them exposure in advance of the 2025 Spring Season. For example, a player who was a second year, born in 2011, 13U player in spring/summer 2024 would play Fall Ball in the 15U division.

Registration is open from Wednesday, August 14, 2024 to Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Register ASAP, as space is limited.

The fall season is less structured than spring or summer. There are no team standings, more positional opportunities and rosters are created based on availability.

Refund Procedure:

To cancel registration for a player and request a refund, you must submit your request by email to NSBA Registrar

Refund Deadlines:

Full refund, minus $25 administration fee, prior to September 4th.
No refunds after September 3rd.

9U

Born in Years: 2017 & 2016
Ages (as of Jan. 1st, 2025): 7 – 8

NSBA will be offering an outdoor 9U Fall Ball. It is meant to be fun and engaging. The sessions will focus on the fundamentals – hitting, throwing, fielding, and pitching. It also focuses on explaining the game of baseball.

Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Start Date: Tuesday, September 3, 2024

End Date: Thursday, October 3, 2024

Time: 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM, Arrival Time: 3:45 PM

Total Sessions: 10 (75 minutes per session)

Location: Eldon Park (4010 Ruby Avenue, North Vancouver, BC)

Note: This outdoor Fall Ball option is meant to be fun and engaging. Will focus on hitting, pitching and other skills required for play at this level. Sessions are weather dependent.

Coaches: These sessions will be coached by two paid professional Travail coaches.

Max Spots: 18

Cost: $250.00 ($25.00 per session, $20 per hour)

11U

Born in Years: 2015 & 2014
Ages (as of Jan. 1st, 2025): 9 – 10

NSBA will be tiering our outdoor 11U Fall Ball sessions. A 11U Development and a 11U AAA Prep sessions.

Plus, we will be offering a Games Group registration.

Please note that the training sessions and games group are not exclusive – you can join both, or just one!

The details are as follows for the three options:

OPTION 1: 11U Development Travail Training

It is meant to be fun and engaging. The sessions will focus on the fundamentals – hitting, throwing, fielding, and pitching.

Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Start Date: Tuesday, September 3, 2024

End Date: Thursday, October 3, 2024

Time: 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, Arrival Time: 5:15 PM

Total Sessions: 10 (90 minutes per session)

Location: Eldon Park (4010 Ruby Avenue, North Vancouver, BC)

Note: This outdoor Fall Ball option is meant to be fun and engaging. Will focus on hitting, pitching and other skills required for play at this level. Sessions are weather dependent.

Coaches: These sessions will be coached by two paid professional Travail coaches.

Cost: $300.00 ($30.00 per session, $20 per hour)

OPTION 2: 11U AAA Prep Travail Training

This is a limited enrolment program for players seeking to play 11U AAA in 2025. The program will be designed to challenge skilled players. Players will be assessed during the first session and groupings may be adjusted based on the result of the assessment.

Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Start Date: Tuesday, September 3, 2024

End Date: Tuesday, October 8, 2024

Note: NO SESSION Tuesday, October 1, 2024

Time: 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, Arrival Time: 3:45 PM

13U

Ages (as of Jan. 1st, 2025): 11 – 12

This program is targeted at players who do not intend to try out for AAA single season ball in 2025. Players will be challenged to develop individually. Players will be assessed during the first session and groupings may be adjusted based on the result of the assessment.

End Date: Tuesday, October 8, 2024

OPTION 2: 13U AA/AAA Travail Training

This program is targeted at players who wish to try out for 13U AAA single season ball in 2025. Players will be challenged to develop in a highly competitive environment and provided training goals to prepare for the 13U AAA level. Players will be assessed during the first session and groupings may be adjusted based on the result of the assessment.

Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

End Date: Tuesday, October 8, 2024

15U

Born in Years: 2011 & 2010
Ages (as of Jan. 1st, 2025): 13 – 14

NSBA will be offering an outdoor 15U Fall Ball. It is meant to be fun and engaging. The sessions will focus on the fundamentals – hitting, throwing, fielding, and pitching.

Plus, we will be offering a Games Group registration.

Please note that the training sessions and games group are not exclusive – you can join both, or just one!

The details are as follows for the two options:

OPTION 1: Travail Training

Days: Mondays and Wednesdays

Start Date: Wednesday, September 4, 2024

End Date: Monday, October 7, 2024

Note: NO SESSION Wednesday, October 2, 2024

Times:

Mondays: 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Arrival Time: 4:45 PM
Wednesdays: 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Arrival Time: 3:45 PM

Total Sessions: 9 (150 minutes per session)

Location: Eldon Park (4010 Ruby Avenue, North Vancouver, BC)

Note: This outdoor Fall Ball option is meant to be fun and engaging. Will focus on hitting, pitching and other skills required for play at this level. Sessions are weather dependent.

Coaches: These sessions will be coached by two paid professional Travail coaches.

OPTION 2: Games Group

Start Date: Thursday, September 5, 2024

End Date: First week in October

Training: Thursday evening, time TBD, 5 practices

Games: will be scheduled with play time allocated from those signed up. Up to 8 games covered including umpire fees for up to 4 home games. Any additional games or training time will be covered by the group. Will need a team manager to assist with scheduling and budget.

Location: Eldon Park (4010 Ruby Avenue, North Vancouver, BC)

Coaches: These will be coached by the 15U AA coach from our 2024 spring/summer season.

18U

Born in Years: 2009, 2008 & 2007
Ages (as of Jan. 1st, 2025): 15 – 17

NSBA will be offering an outdoor 18U Fall Ball. It is meant to be fun and engaging. The plan for Fall Ball will consist of two practices per week (Mondays & Fridays) and exhibition games on the weekends. There also may be a tournament. It is highly recommended attending if looking to play 18U College Prep next year.

Days: Mondays and Fridays

Start Date: Friday, September 6, 2024

End Date: Friday, October 11, 2024

Locations:

Home Field: Parkgate Park (1300 Parkgate Avenue, North Vancouver, BC)
Away Fields: Across the Lower Mainland

Note: This outdoor Fall Ball option is meant to be fun and engaging. These are weather dependent.

Games: Games will be played with associations from across the Lower Mainland on the weekends.

Coaches: These sessions will be coached NSBA volunteer coaches and maybe a paid coach.
