We have over 135 players in the 9U (Tadpole) division and are very tight on time. Unfortunately, based on gym time and the number of children, we must assign times. The 9U Coordinator will send an email to you letting you know what day and time your child is scheduled to be assessed. If you are unsure of your child’s assessment day and time, please contact the 9U Coordinator. We will not be able to accommodate any change requests. If your child is unable to attend this session, they will still be placed on a team.
Why do we have the Assessments:
Our objective in the division is to teach and develop the fundamentals of baseball to all players in a fun and safe environment. This is a non-tiered division, so teams will be created using a number of factors, including player assessments.
This year we are implementing a Skills Assessment process for each child. This will help us get a general sense of each child’s baseball abilities in the areas of fielding, throwing/pitching and hitting. These assessments along with friend requests and school groups will be used to create evenly skilled teams.
