Below are the details of our upcoming 13U (PeeWee) AA Tryouts. This is an invite only tryouts, and is based on after reviewing the players evaluation score . If selected, an email will be sent to those players inviting them if they would like to take part in the tryouts to play at the AA level for the Spring 2017 Season.
The 13U (PeeWee) AA Tryouts will be held on the following dates and times:
Dates: Saturday, February 25, 2017 and Sunday, February 26, 2017
Time: 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Location: Chris Zuehlke Memorial Park
Address: 1905 Jones Avenue, North Vancouver, BC
Arrival: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to start time.
These outdoor tryouts will proceed rain or shine, so please have your player dress for the weather in full baseball gear. Invited players are only expected to attend one tryout day. In the email will have which day to attend.
Following the tryouts, a draft list will be prepared from which the two AA teams will be selected. For those players not selected to a AA team will be placed into the A draft pool and assigned to an A team, also through a draft.
13U (PeeWee) AA teams play at a higher level of competition with a busy schedule. League games are played Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. We will interlock with two Vancouver associations, Burnaby, North Delta, Tsawwassen and Ladner and each team will participate in at least one tournament in May. We expect to be playing doubleheaders on Saturdays and each team will practice twice per week in addition to game days.
