Dear NSBA Players and Families,
We are now just about a week into what the world seems to be referring to as “unprecedented times”. While the top priority for everyone is the health and well-being of their families, the NSBA Board of Directors also recognizes we have a responsibility to keep all of you up to date on the state of the 2020 baseball season for our association and your players.
We want you to know that if there is any way we can offer our players an opportunity for a baseball season, the NSBA will make this happen. As all of us do the right thing and isolate as much as possible to prevent the transmission of COVID-19, the value we will all place on social activities such as youth baseball has only increased.
At this time, we are asking for your patience and understanding — to give us all a chance to see if the situation improves to the point where we can make plans to proceed with this season. After all, when this is over there will be nothing better than playing and watching a great game of ball! If there hasn’t otherwise been an update, we will provide further direction on our plans by the end of April.
Thank you for all your support. If you have any questions in the next month, please contact communications@northshorebaseball.ca
Sincerely,
Board of Directors
North Shore Baseball Association
