Electronic Copy – October 2018
The North Shore Baseball Association (NSBA) is seeking a dynamic, responsible role-model to provide paid instruction and coaching for the competitive 15U AA program, under the direction of the NSBA Executive Board. NSBA has grown into the largest baseball organization on the North Shore, carrying a registration of almost 800 players.
The Head Coach will oversee the 15U AA team throughout the spring and summer continuous season. The season starts with the selection of the team through a try-out process in February and includes between 30 and 40 league, tournament and exhibition games throughout the province. The season concludes with the Provincial Championships in early August with a possibility of representing BC at the BC Baseball events.
The ideal candidate is someone who is prepared to put in the necessary time and energy required to coach young baseball players, enjoys teaching the game, exhibits patience and will promote a safe and positive baseball environment under the guidance of the NSBA Executive.
The successful candidate will work jointly with the 15U AAA coaches to convey consistent messaging of the on and off-field program goals and expectations to aid in the progression of players through the program.
Interested candidates will bring a unique combination of playing and coaching experience and consent to the standard NSBA Criminal Record Check processes. Salary to be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
