The 6th annual North Shore Baseball Association Opening Day Ceremony is set for Sunday, April 24, 2022.

Welcome back families! The NSBA Team is excited to welcome back Opening Day, after not having it for the last two years.
Please bring your entire family and enjoy a BBQ, Bouncy Obstacle Courses, Glitter Tattoos, 5U Base race, Opening Speech by our Chair and by our Mayors, first pitch, 13U AA baseball game and Team and individual photos.
Opening Day Agenda Details:
- 11 AM is the start of Opening Speeches from our NSBA Chair and Mayor of North Van City and District.
- 11 AM 5U – Base Race to start the Season. Please meet your team at 10:45 AM on baseball field.
- 12 PM – 13U AA Baseball game, spectators welcome
- Team and individual photos will start at 9 AM, Photo Time Details
- Please arrive 20 minutes early for pictures
- Please bring your photo order form filled out, regardless if you are ordering any photos – each player will receive a free team photo and an individual photo. Photo Order Form
- 9U – 15U teams please wear your grey uniform unless your manager informs you different
- Players can bring their own bats for pictures
- Bouncy Castles and Glitter Tattoos will be running from 10 AM – 2 PM
- BBQ will be running from 10 AM – 3 PM (players will receive a free burger/hotdog, chips and juice) Concession will be open to purchase hotdogs/hamburgers and other items. (Veggie hotdogs will be offered as well)
- 50/50 draw runs 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM (proceeds will go towards Pink Sock initiative to raise awareness and funds for Cancer and to BC Cancer)
- Managers, please pick up the pink socks for your team to wear in the month of May (table will be set up all day at the entrance of Park)
- 5U – 7U teams – extra shirts and hats will be available at the entrance to the park for your new players.
WEATHER – if light rain, all activities will still commence. If we have heavy rain, pictures and BBQ will still be on and all other activities will be cancelled.

Note: For those that are driving, parking will be challenging with so many people, so please allow a few extra minutes to walk from your car to the field.
