North Shore Baseball Association 11U Summer Ball players proudly presented a $5,000 donation to North Shore Rescue in memory of Coach Jay Piggot this weekend. Jay was an inspirational coach and community volunteer who lost his battle with cancer in 2017. NSBA 1st annual Jay Piggot Invitational Tournament was organized this past summer to raise the funds for the donation and both 11U summer teams participated in the tournament that hosted 12 teams from across the province. Jay’s mom Sandi Piggot helped represent NSBA in the cheque presentation and expressed that Jay would have been thrilled with the outcome of the tournament.
