The North Shore Baseball Association is once again this year awarding up to 5 x $500 scholarships in memory of Nigel Moore (Nigel Moore Baseball Scholarship).
This scholarship application is open to Grade 12 students who will be proceeding to any university or post-secondary institution as approved by the scholarship committee. It is important also that applicants must be currently registered with North Shore Baseball Association (NSBA) and have played a minimum of three years with NSBA or other youth baseball leagues in any division and have exhibited a high degree of sportsmanship, dedication, character and community involvement. Baseball ability is not a factor in the selection process.
The Nigel Moore Baseball Scholarship is awarded to the players who best exemplifies some of the qualities Nigel Moore displayed both on and off the field, such as dedication, enthusiasm, sportsmanship and positive energy.
