Although 2020 has not been an easy year, North Shore Baseball Association is pleased to announce that we will be able to offer up to six (6) x $500 scholarships in memory of Nigel Moore (Nigel Moore Baseball Scholarship) to players who have graduated in 2020 and who plan to attend post-secondary this Fall or even up to the Fall of 2021. Please note that funds will not be disbursed until the player can prove they are fully enrolled in the post-secondary program.
Players must also have played a minimum of three (3) years with the NSBA but one of these years may be the 2020 season provided the player was registered prior to the suspension of play due to COVID-19.
The Nigel Moore Baseball Scholarship is awarded to the players who best exemplifies some of the qualities Nigel Moore displayed both on and off the field, such as dedication, enthusiasm, sportsmanship and positive energy.

Complete applications will be accepted up to midnight on August 31, 2020 but no late applications will be accepted. Although we are unable to recognize scholarship recipients at graduation through their schools this year, the NSBA will notify local media and post an announcement on the NSBA website.
