Fall Ball – 2017

2017 NSBA Fall Ball Registration is Now Closed

North Shore Baseball Association is offering Fall Ball for 9U, 11U, 13U and 15U divisions.

The NSBA welcomes new players, including those from Little League and off the North Shore. There is unlimited imports, no releases required, for out of catchment players during Fall Ball.

The fall season also places players who just completed the second year of a division into the next division to give them exposure in advance of the coming spring season. For example, a player who was a second year, born in 2004, 13U (PeeWee) player in spring/summer 2017 would play fall ball in the 15U (Bantam) division.

To register into one of the divisions, please see the Registrations section below.

9U (Tadpole) and 11U (Mosquito) Fall Ball

We have finalized our Fall Ball development program for 9U (Tadpole) and 11U (Mosquito) divisons. This year, NSBA will be enlisting the services of the Bull Pen Baseball Academy. We will have two Bull Pen instructors per session. Our fall sessions will focus primarily on pitching and hitting. For details and to register, please see the Registrations section below.

13U (PeeWee) and 15U (Bantam) Fall Ball

Fall Ball provides further opportunities for 13U (PeeWee) and 15U (Bantam) divisions to continue playing in September and October when the weather is still great for baseball. Levels offered will depend on the number of volunteer coaches available and interest.

The fall season is less structured than spring or summer in that standings aren’t kept, no tiering, players are given an opportunity to try different positions and in most cases, teams are not created but instead players are selected for each game depending on availability. The floating roaster is to accommodate players that are doing multiple sports.

The NSBA’s fall season will begin just after Labour Day and will run until approximately mid-October. Each division will have one practice per week and games on the weekend.
