Umpire Scheduling Basics

All coaches and managers must register with assignr.com.
Please bookmark this web page on your mobile device and
computer. This is where you will see who is assigned to call
your game, and how to reach them in case of a cancellation,
game change or rain-out. You will receive an invitation to join
assignr.com shortly – please accept as soon as you receive it!

New or Rescheduled Games

Any new games added to the schedule require AT LEAST 48
hours notice. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to
supply an umpire to games for which we don’t receive adequate
notice. The more notice we receive, the better job we can do
for you! Email the Umpire Coordinator/UIC as soon as
possible when a game has been rescheduled or added. If we
don’t know about a game, we can’t schedule an umpire for it!

Update Umpire Fee Policy – Solo Umpire Coverage

In the event that only one umpire is available for a game (where two are scheduled), the solo umpire will be compensated at 100% of the plate umpire fee plus 50% of the base umpire fee to reflect the additional responsibilities of covering both plate and base duties.

Example:
For a 15U A game, the standard fee is $60 for the Plate Umpire and $50 for the Base Umpire. If only one umpire is present, they will receive $60 (plate) + $25 (50% of the base fee) = $85 total.

This policy ensures fair compensation for solo umpires while maintaining consistent officiating coverage for our games. We appreciate the dedication of all our umpires and thank them for their flexibility and support.

All umpires are to be paid at the field by the team managers.
