North Shore Baseball Association is committed to do its best in keeping players playing together on fields close to their homes and schools, whether they live in either North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Bowen Island. This is provided that this does not compromise team balance for that division and that NSBA is able to secure those fields. In the older divisions, which includes the “AA” and “AAA” teams, this is more challenging, but we will do our best to access fields, such as Ambleside, so it is available for players in that area.

At NSBA, our goal is to place every player in the environment best suited to their development, enjoyment, and safety. “Playing up” in an older age division is an exception rather than the norm. Please see our Playing Up Policy for the process you need to follow for any player wishing to “play up”.
To maintain fairness and ensure the integrity of our local baseball community, NSBA accepts a limited number of out-of-catchment athletes for competitive (AA/AAA) tryouts under specific conditions. Please see our Out-of-Catchment Athlete Policy for the process you need to follow for any player that is out-of-catchment and wishing to play for NSBA.
