Below is a detailed agenda for the day (excluding your team’s photo time as this will be provided in the next few weeks by your team manager).
We have lots of fun activities for the day: an NSBA player parade onto Chris Zuehlke Memorial Park to start off the Opening Day Ceremony, a 5U base race to end Opening Day Ceremony, two (2) bouncy castles, face painting, a clown, balloons, BBQ grill and concession stand including free hot dogs for players, equipment sales, a 50/50 draw, a loonie bat draw, the Vancouver Canadians’ Bear and what should be a fantastic NSBA 13U (PeeWee) AA game starting on the field at 1:30 PM.
As part of the Opening Day Ceremony, we request that all NSBA players, coaches, and managers arrive at Chris Zuehlke Memorial Park area and meet up with their team no later than 11:20 AM. Teams will have been established well in advance of April 8th.
