The NSBA Blue Jays fought back after falling down by five runs in the fourth inning. The comeback fell just short though, in a 12-11 defeat to Yankees on Saturday. Blue Jays scored eight runs in the failed comeback on a single by Austin Fraser in the fifth, a double by Henry Williams in the fifth, a double by Dane McAllister in the sixth, a double by the callup Ryan Engles in the sixth, a single by Avery Porter in the seventh, and a single by Ben Desaulniers in the seventh.

Both teams exchanged the lead back-and-forth in the game, but Yankees eventually took the lead for good thanks to a single in the seventh inning by Wyatt Maker. The Yankees scored four runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for our Yankees came thanks to a double by Max Bunderla, a single by Nick Damsell, and a double by Swayer Michaely.

Kate Rogers Pye almost earned the win for Yankees but Nick Hanzek recorded the last three outs to earn the win.

NSBA Yankees had 11 hits in the game. Ryan McEachern and Wyatt Maaker each collected multiple hits for the Yankees. The Yankees tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Nick Hanzek led the way with three.
