18U Fall Ball for 2002/2003/2004 born players (entering Grade 10, 11 and 12 this September 2019).
Our NSBA Executive is very pleased to announce a new collaborative Fall Ball program between the NSBA and the North Shore Twins for 2019. Our two clubs have had multiple, progressive conversations over the spring and summer about pooling our efforts to develop players across the North Shore, moving away from separate fall programs where families had to decide between two options. Both clubs share a common passion to keep children playing baseball for as long as possible and keeping them on the North Shore. We suspect there are lots of questions! Please Read on…
Answer: We share a common belief that baseball development is a unique experience for each player, based on their own goals, motivation and growth and development. By bringing the fall programs together, more players can be exposed to professional coaches, play with their friends, create opportunities to sharpen fundamental baseball skills and play some practices/games/tournaments in a lower stress environment than our spring leagues.
Answer: Usually 2 practices per week plus 2 games. At least one tournament, maybe two, depends upon what other clubs plan for Fall Ball. Premier will likely have one small tournament in Kelowna.
Answer: Each team usually carries 15-20 players for Fall Ball. This allows for missed games or practices, as we support and encourage, that some children like to play soccer/hockey/rugby etc in the fall.
Answer: Junior – $425, Premier – $500 (includes hotel fee for Kelowna). This includes a hat, shirt, insurance, field fees, umpire fees, tournament fees and professional lead coaches.
