Overview
2020 NSBA Fall Ball Registration is Now Open
North Shore Baseball Association is offering Fall Ball for 9U, 11U, 13U, 15U, and 18U divisions. The NSBA welcomes ALL players, including those from Little League.
Given that we are required to adhere to viaSport and Baseball BC COVID-19 Return to Play protocols, registration numbers will be limited and any games against other teams maybe restricted. The focus for this year will be skill development and games under the allowed structure.
The fall season places players who just completed the second year of a division and moves them into the next division to give them exposure in advance of the 2021 Spring Season. For example, a player who was a second year, born in 2007, 13U (PeeWee) player in spring/summer 2020 would play Fall Ball in the 15U (Bantam) division.
Registration is open from Monday, August 24, 2020 to Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Register ASAP, as space is limited.

The fall season is less structured than spring or summer. There are no team standings, no tiering, more positional opportunities and rosters are created based on availability.
Refund Procedure:
To cancel registration for a player and request a refund, you must submit your request by email to NSBA Registrar
Refund Deadlines:
9U and 11U:
- Full refund, minus $25 administration fee, prior to September 9th.
- No refunds after September 8th.
13U:
- Full refund, minus $25 administration fee, prior to September 15th.
- No refunds after September 14th.
9U (Tadpole)
Born in Years: 2013 & 2012
Ages (as of Jan. 1st, 2021): 7 – 8
NSBA will be offering an outdoor 9U Fall Ball. It is meant to be fun and engaging. The sessions will focus on the fundamentals – hitting, throwing, fielding, and pitching. It also focuses on explaining the game of baseball.
Days: Tuesdays and Sundays
Start Date: Tuesday, September 8, 2020
End Date: Sunday, October 11, 2020
Times:
- Tuesdays: 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM, Arrival Time: 5:15 PM
- Sundays: 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM, Arrival Time: 12:45 PM
Total Sessions: 10 (75 minutes per session)
Location: Chris Zuehlke Memorial Park (1905 Jones Avenue, North Vancouver, BC)
Note: This outdoor Fall Ball option is meant to be fun and engaging. Will focus on hitting, pitching and other skills required for play at this level. Sessions are weather dependent.
Games: No plan for games other than possible scrimmage within the group.
Coaches: These sessions will be coached by two paid professional Travail coaches.

Cost: $210.00 ($21.00 per session)
11U (Mosquito)
Born in Years: 2011 & 2010
Ages (as of Jan. 1st, 2021): 9 – 10
NSBA will be offering an outdoor 11U Fall Ball. It is meant to be fun and engaging. The sessions will focus on the fundamentals – hitting, throwing, fielding, and pitching.
Days: Tuesdays and Sundays
Start Date: Tuesday, September 8, 2020
End Date: Sunday, October 11, 2020
Times:
- Tuesdays: 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Arrival Time: 6:45 PM
- Sundays: 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, Arrival Time: 2:15 PM
Total Sessions: 10 (90 minutes per session)
Location: Chris Zuehlke Memorial Park (1905 Jones Avenue, North Vancouver, BC)
Note: This outdoor Fall Ball option is meant to be fun and engaging. Will focus on hitting, pitching and other skills required for play at this level. Sessions are weather dependent.
Games: scrimmage within the group, maybe games against BC Minor teams subject to interest and coach availability.
Coaches: These sessions will be coached by two paid professional Travail coaches.
Max Spots: 12
Cost: $250.00 ($25.00 per session)
13U (PeeWee):
Born in Years: 2009 & 2008
Ages (as of Jan. 1st, 2021): 11 – 12
NSBA will be offering a combined indoor/outdoor 13U Fall Ball. Starts off as an indoor/outdoor 2 x per week until October 14th, and then an indoor 1 x per week until December 14th.
Days:
- Group 1: Mondays (indoor) and Wednesdays (outdoor)
- Group 2: Wednesdays (outdoor) and Sundays (indoor)
Start Date:
- Group 1: Monday, September 14, 2020
- Group 2: Wednesday, September 16, 2020
End Date:
- Group 1:
- Indoor: Monday, December 14, 2020
- Outdoor: Wednesday, October 14, 2020
- Group 2:

Note: Group 1: NO SESSION on Monday, October 12th – Thanksgiving Day

Note: These indoor/outdoor Fall Ball options is meant to be fun and engaging. Will focus on hitting, pitching and other skills required for play at this level. Outdoor sessions are weather dependent.
Coaches: These sessions will be coached by two paid professional coaches (one Pro and one junior coach).

15U (Bantam):

15U Fall Ball for 2006/2007 born players (entering Grade 8 and 9 this September 2020).
Our NSBA Executive is very pleased to announce a new collaborative Fall Ball program between the NSBA and the North Shore Twins for 2020. Our two clubs have had multiple, progressive conversations over the spring and summer about pooling our efforts to develop players across the North Shore, moving away from separate fall programs where families had to decide between two options.
